Nature Area Funding

Our School Council has been successful in being shortlisted for a Tesco Bags of Help grant, which could be up to £12,000, to fund our nature area.

The final funding decision rests with shoppers at local Tesco stores. Customer voting is between 27th February and 6th March.

When you make a purchase, each customer will be given a token and asked to place their token in the box of the project of their choice. At the end of the voting period, funding will be decided.

We would really appreciate your help in making sure that Loudwater School is successful by voting for the School Council’s project when you visit any of these local Tesco stores:

  • Loudwater Superstore
  • Wooburn High Wycombe Express
  • Wycombe North Express
  • Wycombe South Express
  • Wycombe London Road Express
  • Wycombe Chapel Lane Express
  • Plomer Green Avenue Express
  • New Road (Turnpike) Express
  • Hatters Lane Express
  • High Wycombe Superstore
  • Princes Risborough Superstore

Thank you to Mrs. Kybert for putting our bid together.

Tesco has teamed up with Groundwork to launch its Bags of Help initiative in hundreds of regions across England and Wales.
The scheme will see three community groups and projects in each of these regions awarded grants of £12,000, £10,000 and £8,000 – all raised from the 5p bag charge.
Bags of Help offers community groups and projects in each of Tesco’s 390 regions across the UK a share of revenue generated from the five pence charge levied on single-use carrier bags.
The public will now vote in store from 27 February until 6 March on who should receive the £12,000, £10,000 and £8,000 awards.
