Opportunities for voluntary work

We are always happy to welcome voluntary helpers into school.
Volunteers will need to have a satisfactory DBS check.  This  helps employers make safer recruitment decisions and prevent unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups, including children. It replaces the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) or CRB check.  We will undertake the admin procedures on your behalf.

You may have a particular skill you would like to share with the children.  For example we currently have a Coding Club and in the past have run a Spanish Club.  Please ask to speak to Mrs Cunnington to see if we can make use of your skills.

Volunteers also come into school to hear children read.  We can provide some brief training for you if this is something you would like to help with.
