Loudwater School Values

Loudwater School Values and Inspirational People

We have an agreed set of twenty-two values that we believe are important to our pupils and to our school community.  As there are twenty-two values this means that over the course of two school years we revisit each one. These values provide a focus for our school assemblies and are linked to a question of the week that pupils are encouraged to reflect on.

Our inspirational people often link with the value for the month.  When selecting these we tried to achieve a balance between contemporary individuals and those who are historical figures.  We also aimed to have a balance of different achievements associated with our inspirational people, a gender balance and people from a range of backgrounds.  During assemblies we explore their lives and what we can learn from them.
